    Possible Causes
  1. You are using all IP cameras (and no capture card for analog cameras) but did not choose GV-NVR as the Setup Type
      Solution
    1. Uninstall the GeoVision Digital Surveillance System from Windows Control Panel
    2. Delete the GV-XXX folder from C: (example: C:GV-600B)
    3. Install the GV-DVR/NVR software again and choose GV-NVR as the Setup Type
  2. Multicam cannot recognize the GeoVision card due to bad/missing driver
      Solution
    1. Verify GeoVision card driver(s) under Device Manager to ensure there is no '?' or unidentified devices.
    2. If there is, reinstall GeoVision driver and check again.
    3. If reinstalling driver does not resolve the problem, go to step 3.
  3. Incompatible driver and software version
      Solution
    1. Verify whether the OS and software/driver you are installing is compatible with your GeoVision card by refering to Hardware/Software Compatibility Chart.
