- Possible Causes
- You are using all IP cameras (and no capture card for analog cameras) but did not choose GV-NVR as the Setup Type
- Solution
- Uninstall the GeoVision Digital Surveillance System from Windows Control Panel
- Delete the GV-XXX folder from C: (example: C:GV-600B)
- Install the GV-DVR/NVR software again and choose GV-NVR as the Setup Type
- Multicam cannot recognize the GeoVision card due to bad/missing driver
- Solution
- Verify GeoVision card driver(s) under Device Manager to ensure there is no '?' or unidentified devices.
- If there is, reinstall GeoVision driver and check again.
- If reinstalling driver does not resolve the problem, go to step 3.
- Incompatible driver and software version
- Solution
- Verify whether the OS and software/driver you are installing is compatible with your GeoVision card by refering to Hardware/Software Compatibility Chart.
